CFC #37, part three

Back to add the third of three greeting cards i made for the CAS-ual Fridays blog sketch challenge.

On all three cards, in some form or fashion, i used: HeroArt Stamps, DCWV cards, Memories Ink, My Minds Eye cardstock (A Happy Heart collection), and some random buttons, ribbon, & plain cardstock i have from various local craft stores.

Hello all! I decided to take the plunge, and make an attempt at CAS-ual Fridays blog sketch challenge.

It's a contest where you submit your crafty/artsy project of the challenge they present every Friday. It looks as if most people's projects are greeting cards, but i'm sure the possibilities are endless. The reward? Well, there are at least two that i can think of. One, a reason to get artsy (but really, who needs a reason). Two, the chance to win some pretty cool stamps. See below for this weeks sponsoring company.

Technically challenged and "Writer's Block"...

Okay, so i guess i'm not as technically savvy as i once was. I have spent hours trying to get my blog to look just right, but alas, no luck yet. So, anyone who is visiting my blog, so sorry you have to go alllllll the way to the bottom to read About Me. And, i can't get my Gadgets to line up...

I've also decided to try getting out into the Blogging community a little more, although i'm not sure how much time i'll have for such fun adventure's, but we shall see! I've seen a blog called Cas-ual Fridays quite a bit in the stamping community, so i decided i'd take on one of their challenges, new one just posted yesterday! I'm continually amazed by the talent that is out there! I've been coming back to my computer on and off, alllll day to see if some inspiration will jump into my head, but nope, still drawing a blank. I made one card, but am not happy with it. I've pulled out patterned paper and colored cardstock and patterned ribbon and stamps and die cuts, so you'd think i could come up with one, just one, fabulous idea. Nope... I'll keep thinking.

It's a New Year...

so, it's time to do some new things!

One, update my "professional" blog.
Two, find more places to sell my groovy stuff.
Three, eat more veggies.
Four, drink more water.
Five, get back into my left behind exercise routine.
Six, see a concert or two of a favorite artist i've not yet seen (i hear Coldplay singing to me).

Okay, that's enough for now, better to start out easy and work my way past my list, so i can start another one, lol.

I've created this blog to use for my Artsy local business of selling mostly greeting cards and magnets, but who knows what else i can throw in the mix!

Let's see how often i can keep up with this what i like to call "words on a page".
